Our tour aims to maximise your chances of finding clear skies and we journey through the vast Arctic wilderness with its various microclimates to find the optimal conditions for that evening. Once we find promising skies, we set up camp for a memorable evening. You will find yourself immersed in nature, warmed by a cosy campfire and hearty food, sharing stories with fellow travellers and waiting optimistically for nature’s magic.

With our extensive experience, we monitor the conditions to maximise the potential of every tour and maintain close contact with a trusted network of expert guides. We use this experience and local knowledge to choose the locations and routes for the given evening, starting with a convenient pick-up from central Tromsø that gives us a head start in finding the best viewing spots. These may be a short drive to the coastal islands just outside the city lights of Tromsø or, when necessary, a longer journey towards Finland. Some nights, the Northern Lights appear en-route and dance endlessly, while on other nights, patience and positivity are key to witnessing even a faint glow on the horizon. This is all part of the adventure and magic of the Northern Lights.
